How much do y'all think I could sell my bike for?

not in California, the bike would be registered with the 22 plus it had when last documented. Granted, unless a paper trail is available it could be titled with a lot less. But your engine wont match the vin so it's an issue in a lot of states. Here in Cali they wont check engine most likely but in some states they are sticklers.

I can understand calling it an '08 XB12 if there really was a full conversion done to it. As for the frame and worrying about milage on it. I feel what ya'll are saying but if it was taken care of and there's no rust what does it really matter? In my mind i'd shell out 5.5k for this bike if I had it. I'm not worried about the last engine it had. It doesn't have that engine anymore, get over it. Preferably I, too, would like something I could upgrade myself as opposed to something already modded. But that's not really the case here. It's been modded to basically a stock version. As far the whole 160mph claim, I'll beleive until disproven. Best beleive I'm gonna run the **** out of it on the interstate before I buy it though. That's not that outlandish of a claim though. Now if he said 200mph, I'd call bull ****, but he didn't. That's my thoughts. Can we chill a little please? Dudes just asking for a good price range to go by.

Best bet is to quit trying to stir the pot here and venture off on your own to sell your bike. You seem to have an idea of what you want and that's all that matters. You have created so much bad blood here that you will never get a straight answer about any thing here..... Just people making jabs at your claims. Good luck with your sale and please be honest with who ever buys your bike.

Half of you guys have been here less than six months and on a Buell prolly alot less. ****** attitudes of late, no wonder so many senior members dont frequent as much. Its like we had an influx of 18 y/o's that wrecked their Gixxers and picked up a Buell in the fire sale and brought their ****** attitude along with them.
I hate to say it but you jacknobs need to hurry up and trash your Buell and move onto trolling the triumph forums or something...

ha... i would just be happy when this fool sells his bike (as long as he doesnt ******** his claims to the potential new owner), and moves on to some gixer that will take him 160 and beyond (probably catch him out and put him on his arse as well). at least it will get him off the buell, off this forum of generally great members, and out of our minds.

I don't think you are understanding how the burden of proof works. If this is your general philosophy, you are setting yourself up to be wholly gullible. Why, I could tell you that the bike was created by the easter bunny and has magical powers, and by this philosophy, you'd believe it.
Given the complete lack of evidence for this person’s claims and tons of anecdotal evidence that this guy can't tell anything straight, it's not even going out on a limb to say that the bike is highly unlikely to achieve claimed speeds.
What should sway ones opinion at this point? Evidence.
So be honest with whoever buys my bike ok. The frame has 22000 miles the motor 2800 miles the rest of the bike is a little over 700. I ride the bike how it wants to be rode? K there you go. I'll post my video before I sell it and I'll be on my way. And then y'all will still be sitting here without how I got my bike to go so fast.
