Ever heard of James Whitham? Check him out on You Tube. I know James personally..and his buddy, a guy called Carl Fogarty (5 times World Superbike Champion). James raced World Superbikes until around 2001.
When James was 18, he raced a 125cc two stroke in England. His mates all laughed at him, until he challenged a real hero on a Honda 900 Fireblade to a 5 lap race on a racetrack in England. The street rider on the Fireblade accepted the challenge.
James won. He pissed all over the 'blade in the corners.
I've ridden for over 20 years. Put me against a real rider on, say, an Aprilia 250 street bike, and I'd look like a real idiot. He would walk all over me. It's about talent, and power to weight, not raw power. Just my humble opinion....
