Is this a fake?

Was looking around on Kijiji and found a 2004 lightning which apparently has a 2008 engine. Still has the round " cam cover" if you know what I mean. My 08 XB12R has the new sorta oval cam cover, making me think this is an older engine. Am I wrong? You can check it out on "kijiji KLitchener" just punch in Buell, it will come up. Wayne
