Jacket Info

I'm new to Buell seen and need to get a new jacket for riding. I have an old 80's leather I wore with my CBR and was not worried about the tank. I was my beater bike for riding back and forth to work for many years. Now I have a Buell (finally after seeing my first one in 92) and don't want to mess up the tank. Looking for something that will be safe (most important), handle the cold weather (riding in 30 degree weather), not riding up in the back, and something that is good on the tank. I was looking at Icon wear and Joe Rocket. Any information that you guys give me would be great.

Thanks Buddha, just read the thread you suggested and it was very informative. Now I know what things I should be looking into. Never really thought about pants in all the years of riding, I guess that is something else I'll be looking for. Thanks again.

I really like my Adventure jacket and pants. If you can still find them. Buell riding gear is getting hard to come by.

I have a Scorpion Assault jacket, which has worked perfectly in the cold weather. I'm not sure how it'll do in the HOT summer, but it's been a top performer in 30 degree weather for me.

I was looking around for the Buell Adventure, but really wanted to try one on to see how it fit. No one and I mean No one around my area has these.

The Scorpion jacket sounds great for my cold fun. I really like the collar which wraps up high around the neck. I'm going to be looking around my area to try a fitment. Thanks icepop, I'll be looking for something else for summer as well.

No Metal band patches, just the plain rocker leather. My jean jacket had all the metal and rock patches. Yes, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Anthrax to name a few. The kids like it when I put some old metal in every once in awhile. The wife can handle only for a little while.
