As much as we don't like him for what and how he said it, he's not lying about the successful thing. The "old" Buell made great bikes but honestly could never be compared to other big sport bike manufacturers as being successful. Just one of those brands that didn't "conform" to the masses which IMO is a great thing but it hurt them in sales compared to everything else. "Harley" guys didn't want them because they weren't Harleys, and jap bike guys didn't want them because well, they weren't up to the "performance" of jap bikes off the floor that most young street riders were interested in (straight line acceleration, blending in with their buddies and looking cool etc). Doesn't mean they aren't great bikes as we all know they are, just means when compared to other successful sport bikes.....they kinda fell behind in the market

I really like jesse's bike and the geometry but its too shiny and flashy. He has a piss poor attitude and it needs a ztl brake. Its like a blinged out buell tuber. His fab skills are impressive.

The bikes from New York suck.

Gas monkey built what i would build and ride. They built a real bike to ride. What they said on the show is true. I think they have the trash talk attitude for TV. They got my vote

I see a lot of Buell influence in Jesse's and Paul Sr's bike. Both are a Tad too flashy for my taste but the idea and designs are good. An American v-twin sport bike. What a concept!

I guess the engineer in me appreciates the billet frame, and the carbon fiber spring is neat. Its cool but still nothing new and its not a real rider. Keeping with the theme it should have mmc brake rotors too. Why not a carbon frame? That would really impress me on a motorcycle.

The best bike builder is Roland Sands. He builds bikes with a purpose and they serve that purpose looking bad ass. Out of these I like Gas Monkey's bike. That thing is bad ass even them doing it pink because it was pink when they got it is awesome. That's what choppers were back in the day. The detail they did on the engine was crazy.
Jesse just showed how much more of a douche he is. I don't think what he said about an American Sportbike being successful, I think he was implying that it has never been done. I don't know what MotoGP specs he got for that thing cause it is hideous. I was really expecting a lot more from him. I can really appreciate the engineering in Sr's bike it was really done well. I think if they did a more traditional front end with some Ohlins and some clip ons and then did farther back rearsets for a sportier seating position that bike would be money. I don't know what the hell Jr did. Can he even make a bike without a theme? Geez he has to have a theme with everything. Just build a bike already. Oh that Jason Pohl is a f&*)ing tool and I'm so glad that show is not going to be on anymore cause I'm so sick of that dude. He acts like he is a bike designer / engineer and all he does is draw pictures and says build that. What a douche.

^ agreed, I HATE the front end on Sr's bike but like the rest, would look good with a standard setup on the front. I actually like Jr's bike, theme or not. Being a muscle car guy I like the detail he put into it and you have to admit he does do good work, themes or not lol. Jesse's bike reminds me alot of a tuber Buell:

GMG's bike is classic elegance. I think Jr' or GMG will most likely win, Sr close behind and then Jesse but who knows

Jess is a freaking idiot! Anyone that has to tell viewers 18 million times how bad a$$ and cool they are probably exactly what they sound like....I like his bike, a tube blast with a biger engine..... It prob wont be successful though
