It would be a risky venture considering the liklihood they would just add it to the banned list if it included "...at least one military feature..." AKA, "it looks scary"

Looking for a 10.5 inch ar15 barrel or upper, maybe even a 7.5 inch barrel if you have one laying around. Hit me up if you wanna get rid of it!

Well I just got my first gun, been shooting for years just never got one. I just landed a huge .22 Baretta haha shoots straight and is now loaded with in reach in my room, now that I got that for free! I just filed my taxes and looks like I'm getting an ar with a buddy hooking me up with the NATO .556 barrel

My girls scored this at work last night. The entire shipment was gone within 15 minutes, this .223, 9mm and .22LR out the door and people were getting ready to start fighting over it. Yeah, it's TulAmmo, but it looks to be subcontracted out to a company in Italy to manufacture it. Best guess so far is Fiochi ammo branded as Tula. At least it's brass and new, not to mention cheap. $.30/round, so it's a little less than Federal.

Looks like we're going shooting either Monday or Tuesday. :p

Couple of my rifles. M1 Carbine and a Gewehr 43. I shoot better with these rifles than I do with the M4 at work!

Anyone here reload ammo? I just shot some .357s out of my sp101 last weekend, i loaded Winchester .357 brass, 125jhp coppers, and 18.7gr of 2400 powder that my dad's had since his marine corps days in the mid 70s. Those rounds were COOKIN'!

I roll my own 9mm, .45ACP, 357 Sig ammo for my pistols/carbines and .308 for my precision bolt gun. I haven't done much shooting reloading recently because of work/motorcycle/hunting/fishing activities. I'm hoping to set some time aside for reloading in the near future though.

ammo was scarce here for a few weeks with the local stores selling out in minutes.but it seems ok now. i picked up over a 1000 rounds of assorted cal yesterday.

Hey, I am looking to buy a rifle for hunting coyotes and possibly deer. Looking for something inexpensive. I want to be able to customize it...adding an extended mag, bi-pod, possibly a stock, etc. I have looked at a Savage Axis, Ruger American, and Weatherby Vanguard.

Thoughts? Are those guns customizeable? Any input would be a huge help. Message me or reply on here.

Thanks in advance - love being able to reach a knowledgeable group of guys all the time!

Here's a couple of mine - Glock 19 and 26 Gen3:

Got a good deal on the tactical blade - it's a ka-bar. Great if I run out of ammo.

My XD9 Sub-compact. My daily carry. I don't have pictures of my Remington 870 or Mossberg 500.
Hopefully I will have my rifle build done in the next couple weeks that I can post.

Those are sick, ASH.

I am green with jealous rage for the M&P with suppressor. I wish those were legal in MN.

Hey Ash, willing to share any details on the AR? I'm thinking of building one and looking for ideas and opinions of what parts to use. Really like the look of yours. [up]

Thanks guys,

Every gun enthusiasts should live in a state where NFA weapons are welcomed!!! Shooting suppressed is so much nicer all around.

Cheney, this is my favorite AR. The one I shoot more than any and it is a simple very basic one. It is a Sig M400. Comes with the MagPul hardware minus the MagPul AFG2. our choice of back or OD green of course you can change that as well. This is out of the box ready all I have added to this one is the optic, which is a Vortex Sparc, very reliable, crisp red dot for $200.00 and the MagPul AFG2.
My advice is get out there and shoot a few different one and go with one that feels like the perfect marriage to you.

If you click on my pictures you will see a couple more AR's in my collection, a Colt, and a Bushmaster and nothing wrong with those, but I tend to shoot this Sig the most, unless I am wanting full auto, then I shoot my M16. Also have some Del-Tons for builds I am working on (SBR integrally suppressed 300 Blk out!!!) And an Adams arms piston driven.

I am not by any means knocking others, but for me the Sig is my favorite!

Pony,
I love the KSG! The first productions had a few issues with failure to feed or ejection problems in which Kel Tec took care of with their awesome warranty. My dealer tried talking me out of it, told me I would be better of with a SAIGA 12 and put a Kushnapup kit on it (I am really getting into the bullpup market, it will save me some SBR and SBS tax stamps without compromising barrel length.)

This is the latest production of the KSG, it has a couple of nice little updates that feel better. So far I am extremely pleased with it. It handles like a Cadillac!

I am going shooting today and I'll try to take some video and post!

Long video, but very interesting topic. This video could reside in either thread, this one or the 3D printing thread.
