Got some work to do this winter, wondering what's a good lift or if I should just get stands. Need to replace wheel and pulley bearings. Basement isn't finished, so I could just strap it to the rafters.

Also have a full size pickup and would like to haul it on some road trips. Any recommendations for quality ramps? Scg suspension, so not much clearance.

I used front and rear stands and it worked for what I needed. Just a word of advice, I tried to support my bike from the rafters in my basement and the they started to bend a little, lol. My house was built in 1900 so it is pretty old. When I need to suspend to change the swing arm, I just used my fiberglass step ladder as an "A" frame of sorts over the bike with a ratchet strap.

Now why didn't I think of that. Thanks fishxb12.

surf craigslist for a lift...found a heck of a deal on mine for $200. the methods already given work, but it's up to you on what's best to do the job with, what makes you comfortable with and what you can afford in the end, be careful to stabilize the bike properly... just saying

Wrap gets all funky after awhile plus will rot your pipe away. A lot of guy have wrapped there pipes I even had it on mine but did not like it after awhile. Turn signals are LED and yes they are brighter
