I thought today, when I got off work....good day to flush radiator and maybe add a few ounces of water wetter....all done no problem....BUT THEN....when done putting pod back together/on I noticed that the lines of the pod pieces wont really close up or tighten up. Both sides are like that....not real sure how long they have been like that, but I tried and tried and could not get them right....im alittle ocd when it comes to things lining up, things being sguare...equal distances apart,,,etc. Im wondering if a lot of crs are like this and maybe how you guys go about keeping the gaps together....maybe ill go out in a bit when I cool down some (102 heat index today) and take a few pics in case you guys cant picture what im babbling about.

Both my 1125's are like that too, I assume you are talking about where the pods screw onto the housings.

yep that's what I am talking about. I took pics but cant get them to load. file to large....2.43 mb.

I was going to complain some more about the fit and finish of my cr....but I feel when I bad mouth my bike she bites me in the ass....lol

dont mind the dust... tropical storms had them cooped up [sad]

I don't think mine are off that much. Loosen it all the bolts up and either grab an extra hand to hold it together? I know where your coming from on the OCD. My dealership hates me for every little thing that is off with my vehicle. I had them replace a rear spoiler under warranty and it looked like shit. 3 times back to the shop they use to paint it and it still has a small fish eye in the middle of it. The shop they sent it to won't fix it so it isn't on my vehicle till it is. I just picked up a set of the SOC fairings and I am trying to find a place that will Cerakote them. It's not that it has to be perfect, but close.

Mine are off by a mile but thats the price I pay for having carbon on everything.

I think that we are probably all cursed...the price we pay for choosing a path that seems unusual to others. I usually get..." Man...what kind of bike is that" and that is fine with me...Matteson....I think you have a bad curse....I like watching your posts about your motorcycle buying and selling...makes me laugh. Im kind of like that...never feel satisfied and then when I sell something I wish I had it back. But even with all that I nit pick about when it comes to my cr...it still makes me smile when I look at it and takes me somewhere else when I ride.
I do realize that im probably the only one that sees these things on my bike...unless I point them out.\
Cosworth...if you can live with it....so can I.
And Loki.....the fitment isn't the only price you paid fot going all carbon fiber.$$$$$$$ But pretty bad ass
Shawns...don't even get me started with dealerships and body shops....just got my wifes NEW car back from a whole side replacement after being hit by a city po po...they don't like me much because I wanted it to look like it just came off the lot.....because it had....LOL...still not done bitching about that though...
You guys are awesome....
Thanks......not you though Timeless....lol....just kiddin

If you're looking for a cerakote place look up Backwoods Custom Coatings. He's in new Jersey. Sending my headers to him to get ceramic coated today. I've seen a lot of his work he puts on Facebook and it looks top notch.

Its a paint like coating lots of people use it on fire-arms.
