lock cylinder removal

This is a cross-post of sorts, I apologize if that bugs anyone but the info should be the same across all platforms-S,R,CR. I have an 1125R I'm going to do a CR high bar conversion on. I have the ignition switch from the donor CR but I don't have the gas cap and pillion lock. Can the lock cylinder be removed from a Buell ignition switch? Sort of like turn key insert pin pull out lock cylinder type of thing?

Oh I see. Thanks. I did search "ignition cylinder removal" so your assuming this works for the ignition also?
