Nope, no old injuries.

And I really don't know how ear plugs would help my back.. Lol I'm always generally relaxed. I do wear headphones for my Bluetooth headset.

I'm going to get some foam and just stick it in my pants (in the back for my ass, and in the front for the lady's ... Lol j/k) anyway I'll see how extra foam shoved in my pants might help, if it does I'll recover or replace my seat. I'm sure removing isn't hard at all, I've done chairs and foot stools.

Jaimz, get higher bars... And work out. Seriously. 60 miles is nothing. I can do 250+ mile days on my Aprilia Mille Factory (and that's a fooking torture rack). A bit sore, but nothing extraordinary. On my XB12S or STT? I could do twice that easily.

Try some different bars (get rid of that R set-up--doesn't seem o be working for you).

Just my .02 :)

Work out!? Good lord! How can I be 'merican if I do that! Lol

Ok, so I found an Xbox low seat, An db narrow Skyline seat, and a solo urban assault seat.

Anyone have anything to say about either of those? They're much better priced than I thought they'd be.

Yeah, you wont see an improvement. Find the Select seat (has gel in it), or the street fighter seat (thought I remembered someone saying they were comfy). I know the Select is.

And I'd look for a Lghtning upper triple and bars set-up...

I have a lightning upper triple and bars ;) I have my entire S front end still in fact.

I've been looking for a select seat for two days now. I don't think I'm going to find one too soon.

so I found an Xbox low seat

I just realized my phone correct xb with Xbox. lol

Exercise is good for you :) We just bought a treadmill from walmart(site to store) for like $280.....about time I lose 20-30lbs. Can't hurt for the riding either(less weight on the seat = less pain in the butt).

Well, it's not my butt that hurts is my upper back. Just a slight sting. Yesterday I road about 75 miles. I found that sitting closer to the tank helped alot. I've got long arms so I'd sit farther back.

I've done 1500mi in a weekend on my XB9S. I have 1in handlebar rises which def helps and added an ATV pad to the seat, found it at walmart. The pad wasn't a dramatic improvement, but it helped.

I think I got it for under 20 bucks. Here it is on the bike.

I took mine on a 1200 mile plus round trip a few years ago. I had a change of clothes in a backpack and I think that combined with 70+ speeds is what caused me the most discomfort. My back was ok, but my neck, shoulders, and knees were sore. I had even taken breaks at gas stops, once taking a nap. Next time I go to the dragon my bike will ride in the truck.

a few years ago, was working at Barstow/Dagget Airport which was a 128 mile drive from door to door, spent 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for 6 months crossing the sand box to earn the mighty dollar:D it sucked!
