when i switch to high beam (left light) the low beam (right light) doesnt stay illuminated, they just switch back and forth when i hit the switch, they both work but not at the same time, possibly a headlight switch??

do a little more homework and you'll find that is the way they are supposed to function from factory.

Lots of us on here have done the mod where both stay on.

oooooh, shit i feel dumb... i didnt know that was a mod.... my bad everyone, you can just beat me with the idiot stick....

DO NOT feel bad. That is what this board and site are for. Some of us like to help and answer questions. I did not mean to sound as if you were dumb. Buells are not the only bike out there with only one headlight burning at a time. It is very common now.

FYI: I spliced both my headlights together where they burn on low beam position and are totally off when on high beam. I like it that way so when the bike is idling upon warm up the charging system doesnt have to power the headlights.
