I shipped my original rotors to Lyndall, they arrive there on friday so then they can start developing their sexy rotors for Buells! The rear one should be pretty straightforward i guess but the front one may well take a bit more planning due to its large diameter but talking to Paul i am hopeful they will find a way round it given time! The more i read about these rotors the more i want them! They really are 21st century high tech! Will post updates as i get any news in the hope that it will help others who may want them! :eagerness:

Right my rotors arrived at Lyndall and were just off to be digitized? (i think thats what its called but may be spelt wrong!) i am due to ring them at the end of next week to see whats happened and whats possible! so with any luck their rotors black or grey/silver may well soon be available for Buells! so hopefully that could be useful to some of you chaps for road or track days etc etc I will post up any info as i get it! Have a nice weekend chaps and enjoy valentines day with your loved ones!! :love_heart: :eagerness:

Tone, thanks for the update, but I do have a question about your all black bike, your rear shock, is it also all black?

**** i just thought though the central plunger/rod is chrome! mate i could pull it apart and get it done in black titanium nitride just like the fork sliders!! Now look what you did!!! ha ha ha It WILL get done trust me!!

We just put those rotors on a street glide. On the test ride (7miles) it filled the slots with pad material and was eating the rotors.

I was actually about to contact them for buell rotors as I have extra race /EBR rotors I could send for casts . Hope these work better than the SG ones ... Please update.

Did you use the Lyndall pads? thats crucial to the whole set up apparently non Lyndall pads will do that. On the composite rotors i will be running their Xtreme pads which are made specifically for use with those rotors. I sent them an EBR front rotor and an OEM rear. I will keep you updated for sure

Brilliant news! Lydall brakes CAN and WILL make their awesome rotors for Buells! Mine will be made as a "custom" build within 120 days from now, This will make them more expensive than the "standard production" rotors but if more people show interest then the price will drop (no price quote yet sorry) and they will become a standard product available on their website! Either way custom build or not i will be getting mine made for sure and trying hard to get the 120 day delivery time brought forward considerably! So there you go chaps we will now have another source for brakes going into the future should you ever have a problem with availability elsewhere! :eagerness:

You`re welcome mate! any price info i get be it quoted or estimated i will put on here and when i do get them they will be on the bike within an hour of delivery!! I have read so much good stuff about them i really cant wait to try them! Plus no one will pay more for their rotors than me being the 1st ones they make but after that they will get cheaper the more orders they get so dont be put off when i post the price of mine on here! GULP! ha ha ha Will keep this updated with any news i get as i get it! :eagerness: Ps, as far as i know they will also be doing the "natural" metal colour too for those that dont want black!

^^^^ i am hoping to get a rough idea of cost in about a week or so when Paul should have a bit more time to go over a few more details although i know he is real busy right now, but he is really excited about it because he has been wanting to do Buell rotors for a while he just needed a push! lol :eagerness:

Thats great news Tone! With how much some of these guys spend on just telling time...LOL...Im sure alot of them will be buying new brakes and rotors!

Hey crash and his bike i hate that too! ha ha ha still joking! :black_eyed: and 248 yeah i saw that thread man they are some expensive watches! so what excuse do they use now for being late? at least with the rotors you could say you ran out of gas because you had no money left to buy any! lol :sorrow:
