I kicked around different intake ideas and I believe any sporty intake is the same. Don't take that as gosphel but they appear to mount the same.

It was 60 degrees here today. now we are getting somewhere!!!
Pulled wheels off and they are at the shop being mounted with brandyos new Dunlops as I type.
STILL WAITING ON MY HEADLIGHT BRACKETS FROM GERMANY
I could through the clip-ons and controls on and finish up that stuff but the headlight brackets have to go down on the fork tubes 1st.

Bar end mirrors came in yesteday too!

Well while I have the calipers off I might as well do brake pads too, any recommendations on pad type? and the best place to source them?

Well got some work done again
Tires and wheels back on,
New pads in the calipers,
New shifter and bronze bushings to get rid of the slop in the shifter arm. Stock is plastic (havnt done the brake side yet).
Drilled the Forcewinder to have a place to put the I.A.T.
And started stripping off more plastic from the ass end.

Ok friends, Ive got a small problem,
The master cylinder wont allow me to slide the perch up on the bar were I want it.

Can anybody recommend a perch assy with a remote reservoir?

If you wanted to keep your stock headlight bucket the headlight itself is made by Bosch. Sorry I don't have a part # but it was used on the Ducati Monster and some older BMW bikes.

I wound up going with a 7inch headlight lens and reflector from Dennis Kirk, I screwed up and bought a stock headlight shell off ebay not realizing it was somthing like a 7 3/4 shell. The following day I ordered a lens/reflector from DK and when parts showed up in the mail DOH!!! I thought I searched the Bosch part # of the back of the stock unit and came up with "this item has been discontinued" I searched for three days looking for a reflector and lens to fit my stock bucket and came up with nothing so I then just bought a cheap EMGO 7 inch bucket (hangs head in shame)

grebesbakery: here is were the headlight I have now came from https://www.denniskirk.com/adjure/7-in-diamond-cut-ice-halogen-light.pH22208.prd/H22208.sku

Im still open to ideas!! Im not pleased with the EMGO bucket AT ALL!

Some more eye candy sorry for the crap cell phone pics I keep forgetting to take the good camera with me when I got to the garage.

The # may have been changed by now. Since they still make Ducati you might try one of their dealers or American sport bike. com

I RODE IT TODAY I RODE IT TODAY!!!!! nothing like what I expected! Its has a very diferent feel then used too. Im not used to the power coming on so low in the revs. Its smoother than I expected also! at one point I was going down the road and didnt even realize I was only in forth I bet I drove 5 miles at 55 mph that way. I put a 100 mile shake down run on it today. So far Im very pleased with what Ive done to the bike, I just need to make some bar adjustments.....my wrist are killing me!! lol I may go back to a standard bar but lower I dunno yet, if I set my clips on so they are comfy then the switch blocks hit the tank when maneuvering the bike in tight places, I hit the starter button at least twice with the bike running . I dunno yet? Ill tweak more on it tomorrow.

Thanks willie!!

Well I did some more riding and screwing with my bar position today I think I came up with something I can live with. I had to stop thinking sportbike and trying to angle them down, the ergonomics of this bike are hell! I cant pin point it, I think because the seat is so much higher than the triple clamp, and you cant really lay on the tank. (or im just getting to old for that shit) I even went to a local dealer and sat on a Yamaha and Kawasaki to reminde myself what a sport bike should feel like. I ended up pulling the bars slightly up at an angle to get the proper angle for my wrist, still way lower than the stock bars not to goofy looking and dosnt kill my wrist now!! WOOT!

Here is some better pics for ya guys, I still have work I want to do but at least I can ride it now. Im still waiting for my undertail section from Airtech, I want to move the horn someplace else, and I just cobbled up a breather system with what I had laying around. I want to clean that up to. I might cut up the rear tire hugger fender and put it back on, not sure yet?? And Id like to do something about the dash and guages sticking up so high.

AND TRUST ME! I smile bigger and bigger for every bug I get splattered on me!! It feels so good to be out riding again!!

Are you going to run without a windscreen? I have a factory carbon fiber one if you are interest ed

I dont know yet? Im torn both ways on the windscreen? I dont know if I like them on there or not? plus im not useing stock headlight brackets so I have nowhere to mount a windscreen.
