the seat I made myself

have you thought of or are you in the business of doing seat covers? you've got talent man[up][up][up]

think you'd get business from the forum recovering seats:D what would your rate be if you did?

Very nice looking bike! I really like the black accents. Make me want to do some powdercoating over the winter! I started with the same exact bike. It's fun to personalize these bikes! Welcome to the forum! [up]

If we can help you out with any accessories for it, let us know!

It is hard to see but have you installed subframe spacers? Are those from Diesel Moto?

The bike looks awsome!! You just needt to do a hand paint in the timing cover... right?

:)

tremendous workmanship there, cowboy. perhaps a 1/4 inch black stripe around the bead of each rim might also add a bit of color depth to the wheels. just a thought.

Funny you say that I work for a seat cover business called GT Covers we make car seat covers for dealerships. We were thinking of getting into bike seats but didnt think anyone would be interested in stapling their own covers on. When I was in the Los Angeles office I did a bunch of my friends seats and they all loved them but wanted me to staple the covers on and its kinda a lot of work if its not your bike.

I just made some quick tabs up and was going to fill the gap later but Im not sure I like the ride yet, it kinda puts me way up on the tank cover. No hand paint I dont want to do it twice so ill just wait for the motor pull.

Already on order :) good call

Send me a PM I have a ready made cover that is an exact match of mine but has black carbonfiber instead of the orange (incase I didnt like the orange) send me ur address ill send it to you and you let me know how hard you thought it was to staple on.

FlaX you should do this! I'm no upholstery guy but have recovered motorcycle seats before and stapling them on is not very hard, I could help you do it if you want.

I would, after some of the DIY projects I've done over the years...

put a feeler out there and see what comes of it, for those you don't want to do it, they could have a local shop do it at a fraction of the overall cost of having a custom seat done, just saying

I have some material i want to use to redo my 1125 seat (the small rider seat). How much would you charge to sew me up a cover?

Lucky ass^^^ And it is not hard to staple on a seat cover. Considering all of the things people diy themselves on this site that has to be one of the easiest. Send picture of the black and carbon cover. I might be having you make another! Or the orange haven't decided yet. They both look wicked and I also rock gold wheels.

:D

I'll take that as a compliment

When I get it I'll post pictures of before and after and the difficulty level over the procedure. Maybe even a DIY thread to plug CowboyNinja and his Badass seat covers [up]

Got it in today and must say it's very nice and exceeded my expectations. I took a few pics of it I'll share shortly.

Thanks again Cowboyninja [up]
