NOOOOO, one less buell on the road.
Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. But like everyone said, at least you're alive. Getting rear-ended while stopped in traffic is one of my biggest fears. Be glad you're not paralyzed, maimed or dead. And while it sucks that it's one less Buell, there are other Buells out there to be had. The bike can always be replaced. A leg, spine, brain, whatever, cannot.
Glad to see you're ok. FYI, in case you haven't already done so, make a folder with everything related to the accident (all the medical bills, visits, etc.). After I wrecked in 2003, my insurance tried to contest almost half of the bills from different specialists that I had to go see after I got out of the hospital. They tried to claim that since it was weeks after the accident, that some of the procedures weren't necessary and they didn't want to cover them. It took me 6 months (literally) of constantly writing letters, forwarding bills, forwarding my primary physician's notes, etc. just to get them to cover it all.

Im on that to. My back has a pinched nerve and its so bad i cant sneeze. You know how strange it is to be forced to stop a involuntary action thats strong enough to stop your heart and make you project stuff out of your nose/mouth at 100+mph?? Its painful.
Insurance guy recently was trying to give me 800$ for pain and comp, i was like nooooo lets wait till i get a check up.
I hate those a-holes. Today I was almost rear ended when I rode my bicycle on the local street with 20 mph speed limit with wet snow road condition at night time. There was an oncoming car and a car behind me, the car behind me decided to overcome me and squeeze into the gap between me and oncoming car on high speed. If I would not turned my head and would non noticed this maneuver and would not swerved to the sidewalk at the last moment I would be rear ended. No respect to speed limit, no respect to road condition, no respect to 1 meter minimal space between bicyclist and car.
