My Ride gone WRONG!!!!.........

Hey B how did your gear hold up? Kinda curious how the mesh jacket handled the crash

Only thing on all my gear that had any noticabe damage was well, nothing.

My helmet was already scratched up from myself giving it a tattered look, and my jacket, shift pants, and shift Fuel boots are all good to go. I do have a very small hole in my parts were I bashed my knee pretty hard and some grass stain, but after washing them you wont see a thing.

Luckily when I landed I somehow managed to let my body go limp. I have heard if you tense up the wounds will only get worse so I just let happen what happened. My left should hit something but I have shoulder pads in the jacket and I have no clue what I hit with my right shoulder but it hurts like a MFer. I imagine I hit the curb with that shoulder and was lucky in every case as I had nothing major or broken[smirk][up]

Been sitting in pain all day with an ice pack on my shoulder but I can feel a definite improvement since yesterday, well it might just be the drugs, but either way I feel better. Hope I wont hurt to bad at work tomorrow[smirk]

Sorry to hear about your bike,but the main thing is you were not hurt badly,bikes can be fixed or replaced, we can't, so heal up and get back to riding.[up]

if you don't report the wreck to the insurance you should be able to just swap the frames, course the vin #'s won't match. Was any of your "art work" collateral damage, thats would suck!! means more time in the chair.

this may work for the vin.........if the frames totaled and you have a new one....just cut the vin from the totaled frame and make a vin plate from that peice. it sounds doable.....like i said just a thought.

Tattoos are all good no rash on them.

As far as insurance I am still claiming it since so much else was damaged, I am hoping they total the bike I can rebuild it and just have a rebuild title.[up]

If for some reason the insurance screws me then I will just rebuild the bike on my own but I hope it doesnt come to that. I basically have everything I need but would end up spending around $500 to get it back to good, then what ever new paint would cost me[confused]

best excuse to buy an 1125 hope u get better. a buddy i know got in a wreck about a week ago he was doing 45 and a truck pulled out in front of him he was beat up pretty bad and a buddies dad hit a deer on his scooter(he just drove it to work) and he was messed up pretty bad to all had broken bones scapula ribs and 1 hip i just hope i can stay away from it

Have to wait and see what the insurance will do. I already know how much I will get if it is totaled since I went through all of this last summer but what I dont know is what they will give me for the aftermarket stuff?

It can be done, I would just take it to the next level

Definitely glad you are OK! hat to see that **** happen. The MSF safety people tell you what not to do if a dog runs at you, but they said nothing about a turkey!

Thanks all, just filed my insurance claim so I will see how that goes[smirk].

Last year it took them 3weeks of my insurance claims agent trying to back stab and tell all the mechanics and my agent they were all wrong and my bike must have had damage before the crash last summer.

I hope I have a different agent this year [confused], she was clueless, but had the big hand to wave around so I was at her mercy to some extent.

This is VERY illegal..... like Felony illegal.

clean title frame is easy... once rebuilt u just plate it like a normal bike.
