I have a 01 Chevy Silverado. Love it. I load my xb in it for track days and go anywhere. I would say get a chevy truck. Dependable, versatile, and you can do alot with it. My opinion all buell/Moto owners should have a truck.

Agreed. I dont have one, but thats what I want. Just a classic, classy, reliable truck.

Well I figured it out...well my parents did...

I'm getting a 99 Honda civic SI with 18k on motor and 87k on body!

My parents have been car hunting for me back home while I've been car hunting down here in TN. they always are emailing me links of cars they find on CL that I'd probably like and I'm honestly just getting fed up with this whole car hunting thing. Well alone the emails they sent me was the civic. I told them it might be worth looking at sorbet went and test drove it and all for me. Turns out it's a nice little car, an the guy has all the paperwork and receipts for all the work done to it. It's pretty stock which o's good in my book o hate getting stuff messed with by other people! Not to sure a civic is exactly what I want but hey it's a SI with the vtec and it's 5spd with an electric blue body.....

All the reviews and such say it's a good little sporty thing, and good on gas, so that's a plus I guess...

Anybody have an SI that wants to comment?

That generation of SI is a BLAST... Last year they came with a double wishbone suspension if I am not mistaken. Running the b16 engine which responds to mods like a cheeta on cocain. You could build a nasty N/A ride or boost the hell out of it and still end up not breaking the bank.
I suggest getting a little rebuilt garrett air research turbo from ebay (t3 flange) and run hondata for engine management... I built a complete kit from ebay specials that ran like a champ for about 2500 for one of these

BTW I ******* LOVE THOSE SI's[up]

Might sound stupid for this recommendation, but you can pick up a C5 Corvette M6 with 80-100k miles for around 12-15k dollars and get mid to high 20's mpg. With a couple HP mod's, you can get them near 30 mpg with headers, exhaust, and intake and push over 400 fwhp.

Man I miss my SI Prelude loved that damn thing!! Got in the military started making money thought I needed a new camaro!! Big Mistake!!! Love those Honda's!! Course now I am drivng the wifes Yota FJ while she is deployed and love the **** outta it!!!! My 07 Siverado never gets driven anymore

Well it's good to know pol like them, odds r I won't mod it out much, I still Wana get another wrangler!
