need info on MODing your stock airbox

the fastest way is to put the race ecm in there, if you can find one. It just plugs in. Its behind the front faring on the R model, make sure you got an aftermarket exhaust on it. Id just ride it like that for a while. You can drill holes in the airbox later on if you want to.

yea okay i know where it is i jusr figured you had to download something to it or plug a computer to it (no clue)lol but im looking at some exhaust options...any suggestions that are a fairly fool proof install and doesnt require retuning or will the engine require retuning for any aftermarket exhaust?

yeah race ecm .. no tuining possible, you just plug it in. To tune a stock ecm you gotta get ecmspy program and the cable then you gotta re map everything an it can get pretty complicated. The race ecm does away with the need for re-mapping.

I got the Carbon Fiber Jardine.. real light, the Stainless probably lasts longer.. I think Jardine is the only one being made right now.. Besides the semi-custom ones a few guys are making.

kevin drummer lives near me and ive been talking to him about having him do my exhaust and say screw aftermarket...any ideas or input on said idea?
