I love LOVE LOOOVVEEEE my crossroads but they are just too damn wide and I can't put a stabilizer on them. Does anyone know of any other triple trees from say an I4 that will fit on top of the buell forks??? I don't like the firebolt riding position so that's not an option.

Look for a set of clip-ons with a 2" or slightly more rise. They'll bolt to the fork tubes under the upper triple clamp and have about the same height as the cross-roads (because the 2" or more rise). Someone on badweb posted a picture of them, don't have a link and not going to spend an hour looking for you lol. Then you can run to upper triple clamp style stablizer, or use the LSL which fits under the lower clamp which still let's you use any style bar.

Can you trim your crossroads? Just take a dremel to the ends and knock a little off?

Why don't you get the more narrow crossroads bars? They make a wide version and a narrow version.

Of or you could go the more expensive route and get a clip on conversion triple tree with clip ons.

That's what I want! but i was hoping to find something i could pull off another bike and convert. That is real sexy who makes that kit?

Miami, yes i could trim the ends, but i still want to change the angle of the bars.

Do a Firebolt bar conversion, there is a new upper triple tree on eBay right now and then Just buy a couple stock bars, you would still be able to do the GPR you want too.

Simple, cut off a few inches on both sides. i know it was said but i don't thing he understood. Take a $4 hack saw and measure your excess and remove what you don't need you will end up with exactly what you need.[up]
