Hi everyone,
I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. It goes nicely with my xb9r & vrscd. It came with an hmf and k&n, but apparently no fuel management. No warning lights....but after 6k revs it just seems to fall on its face....lack of fuel? The vrod has a tab exhaust/tuner and pulls very hard to redline and the xb has a drummer with ebr ecm also pulls very hard. Even without a fuel programmer I really thought the cr would scream and now I'm genuinely worried it might be a lot more then just fuel. Also, after a lot of cable lube and adjustments, the throttle still feels extremely heavy and slow to react. So what do yall think?

Also, if anyone has a very cost effective solution for the ecm I'm all ears...perhaps someone has an extra?

de-noid will make the throttle a little lighter but the 1125 seams to have a heavier throttle. As for mapping if you want to do it your self I have heard nothing but good about "the tuniversity"

Thanks! Sounds like a fairly easy mod, how much of a real world difference? Is that what I'm actually feeling? Why would they put it on there in the first place? As to tuning myself, I know my weaknesses and I really like this bike! Thanks again for the info

Tuniversity will take care of you, they have different packages that you can choose that best fits your needs.

Anyone near Charleston, sc? Thanks for the help! I'm pretty sure I already love this forum and since I'm perpetually broke the 'ol do it yourself mentality rocks as I've had nothing but awful experiences with the hd dealer....and that's with a vrod! I'd really love to see what eric would have done with a vrod, perhaps I'll just send him mine with a note asking to remove the hd badges and replace 'em with buell ones!

Very good chance its running lean. I de-noided mine there is a difference not to much but a little if you do it you need this somewhere out there there's a writeup on how to make your own. If you want to buy a mapped ecm and be done here if you plan on re mapping down the road here

I dis the tps reset today and it helped a ton.. it could be that I also just added a k and n filter. But it doesn't have that choppy idle under 4500 rpms... a lot smoother
