I changed my handlebars, once again, from the very aggressive clubman bars to the renthal streetfighter bars. The results are more pleasing than I ever could have imagined! The entire riding position has changed from a very forward race-prone position into a more upright, comfortable and surprisingly more confidence-inspiring riding position. It really feels like an entirely new motorcycle and I am having a blast! The install went smooth but it did require careful measuring with my calipers to get the control locater pin holes in the perfect position. renthal 1.jpgrenthal 2.jpgrenthal 3.jpg

I always end up grinding those locater pins off instead of drilling the bars. Partially because I don't want to screw up the hole position, partially because I want to be able to return the bars in case I end up not liking them or something.
Never had issues with the controls spinning on me, they seem to clamp tight enough. Even if they did some hockey tape would cure it.
