Hi guys.
I am just a newbie from Perth Western Australia. Just purchased a XB9S a few weeks ago, test rode a XB12S over a decade ago was about to put hard money down on one and the local Buell dealer said there was a 18 months wait, asked would I like a Ducati ( said no once bitten twice shy and all) so off around the world for a few years and test rode a XB9SX in London by chance one day, really enjoyed the motors spread of power, well after nearly two years of looking finally found one, not pristine but honest with 40k on clock, serviced it and gave it a once over, had to put some higher pegs on as kept scrapping them, sorted the suspension ordered a new seat as the one it came with is hard after about 25 minutes, and I have been riding nearly every day, great city bike although the D&D exhaust is too loud (PO asked for the loudest pipe he could get, it is obnoxiously loud and in process of getting it less headache inducing will post details after get it right).
A little about myself been riding since I was 5yo ridden many different bikes/brands/styles but always came back to the allure of twins, currently work in research, have spent some time building choppers in the UK and nearly ended up in Hawaii as a HD mechanic, my background is in sports bike though.
Currently run a TL1000R and XB9S and look forward to more tinkering on the Buell.
