That clip of the silver 4dr taking the short wheelbase line is pretty impressive!
Yes.... don't really remember why they chose to take it that way... it was funny watching him drop in and get snagged on the rear tire with his front bumper almost plowing the rock in front of him.
In case anyone cars about random Jeeps... here's the web album from that day also...

As far as climbing... the breakover was much nicer on the 2drs, but the 4 doors were MUCH less likely to lift the front wheels when you had to get aggressive with the throttle. In either... the right armor/sliders will make a HUGE difference... you won't have to be so "picky" above avoiding dragging things.
It's nice to not worry TOO much about that giant rock your slipping by...
This is my brother's jeep, though it has poison spider sliders and some more armor on it now. This was the first weekend we dragged it over rocks... which will convince you pretty quickly to beef it up. Also the first time to rail those pretty black wheels against the rocks.
Just enough lift to tuck the 33s at full flex.
I mentioned it earlier, but no pics. Here is MY toy.
LT1 V8, 700r4 tranny, LS1 Camaro disc brakes, lots of suspension mods, desperately needs a new complete exhaust and rebuilt rear-end.
Brake Clearance was a LITTLE tight.
This was a school project, but sums it up pretty well...
