Texas Mile... NO idea really. Just lots of calculator work.
There really aren't many trucks running it (at least with semi-normal HP).
This is the only truck I've seen run...

With the 3.08 rearend, I'll be doing 151mph as I hit 6000rpm in 3rd gear. 4th, would be 215mph (obviously too high)... though lots of people say you shouldn't push 4th, being OD.
I'd like to hit 160mph, as a nice goal. Maybe gear 3rd for 160, then bump to OD, just cruise. This is assuming I have the space. Running calculator on RPM, I've hit over 160 with the 2.73 rearend... from a 70mph roll on WIDE OPEN highway. With roasting the tires at a launch, I hit over 110mph with the 2.73 rearend in a 1/4 mile.
I can easily make minor gear adjustment with tire size. Going up 1.5in in tire size will get me the extra 10mph to hit 160 in 3rd gear.
I DO have a nitrous kit waiting to go on (though I don't have the "safety" stuff, just a basic kit).
But... I don't think i want to burn it up with an extended spray while pushing the upper MPH... maybe use it to get above 100, then go all motor?
I need to do some testing to see how quickly the truck will top out. Some cars ease into it because a mile is TOO LONG... they wait till 3rd gear, then pin it... this puts them at near their top speed at the end of the mile (where speed is measured). The alternative is to roast the tires leaving... ends up in a slower distance traveled, but higher trap speed.
Yes... i know MPH gets REALLY expensive on the big end. Takes lots of HP to make MPH... so i may be greatly dissapointed. But goals, man, GOALS.
Random searches...

Stock LS1 Fbodies hit just under 150mph
