Hey guys, just got this 2003 XB9S (L maybe? has yellow rear suspension, low seat, and low front suspension). Very excited about this purchase to say the least. I have ridden a slew of Harley's and previously owned a GSXR750. When shopping I was originally looking for a Ducati Monster SR1000 but kept getting pulled toward Buell XB's. Eventually I decided I wanted a 2009 XB12S as I love how everything is black from the factory. But then this nice little 2003 XB9S popped up for sale with 7,500 miles, two owners (who were acquainted), and a price tag of $2,300 I couldn't pass it up. It also came with a helmet, jacket, gloves, and the full maintenance manual. It also had some of the basic cosmetic mods I wanted to perform (mirrors and fender eliminator). I probably will not do any other modding to this bike other than perhaps upgraded bar end mirrors, new grips, and maybe some other cosmetic tweaks. The only thing I have done so far is change the front logo to the Pegasus logo. Anyhow, I live in SLC, UT and I'm happy to be a Bueller.

I think we have all said this at one point or another! ;) When you realize that you can't hold back any longer, look us (both 5-0dro and any other sponsor on the right margin) up for a few tasty mods :p

In all seriousness, welcome to the forum and your new brotherhood! I think you got a great deal on a great bike! [up] There's a bunch of great people on here that are always willing to help so never hesitate to help!

Ride safe!
