Well, I scrapped my stock can in favor of what you see below. It's a pair of 3"-body glass packs, 2" piping, and 2-1/2" tips. All that remains of the stock can is the primary and chin mounts. I should have video by Monday night.

Nice Work Pockets!... Wanna make me one?

Seriously.... ya need to get a vid up of how is sounds...

How much did that cost to build?

I have tossed around the idea of building my own custom pipe, but I am a stickler for perfection so I am thinking about some type of pre made cans that I can just basically weld to a collector, to keep it clean but also look good

Wow, nice! Looks kinda like a d&d clone...how does it sound and ride? Any plans to put it on a dyno? Looking forward to the video!

Rndrk- We could make another probably. I'd have to price it out, but estimate would be about $200. Your stock muffler would be scrapped for mounting tabs and primary.

As for the sound... it's LOUD. Great rumble and less popping than my old hackpipe surprisingly enough.

The mounting is the stock front primary clamp and a bolt into the rear stock mount. I'll get pics up of that by Monday night as well.

looks nice, I would love to have somethin look like that, of course if it didnt make my bikes performance worse [up]

It was a definite torque gain over stock. Lofts the nose VERY easily now. No remap is needed as long as you don't have a K&N.

I would like to clarify that no remap is needed on 08-10 models with no intake mods. Even then, remap is always needed.

Also, I highly doubt there was an actual gain in torque. Torque is usually gained by adding back pressure or lengthening the pipe. A short straight pipe is a torque killer.

Sorry Pockets, just keeping things honest.

Not a problem Dave.

I agree that a remap would be great to do, but I'm computer illiterate. I agree on the torque/back pressure thing, but it sure seems to pull a lot harder than it did with the stocker.

um...it's not needed and it IS needed?[confused]

sound clips, sound clips, sound clips, sound clips.....WooHoo looks awsome i bet their hella LOUD!!!

sorry to thread jack but... did anyone ever consider making a flowmaster style muffler. i was thinking about it for a couple weeks now.

Clips to come on Monday night.

Fock347- I think that's what the Hawk has done to it. Baffles inside like a Flow, but I may be wrong.

Sorry, that was wrong. Let me edit myself.
