I'm a little bitter lol, bought mine last year, 2004 xb12R, no performance package, 11,000 miles, $3600. Then again i knew i wanted it and looking back on it, i dont think i could have waited any longer to get the same bike. Congrats on the purchase, and if your not gonna have a rider i would say leave the mounts off.

Stock on bike when it was black

Stock on yellow.

BD on yellow bike. It has been cut to follow the stockers profile. Basicly I layed the stocker over the DB, matched up the top corners and followed the profile of the curve on the stocker. I did this to lower the airflow from hitting me in the head to my upper chest/neck area. sorry I dont have picks of it. Just picture a stocker and a Db having a baby and it grew up to as big as the DB but lookes like the stocker.
