Bought my first bike last week - '03 xb9sl. Now that I've been a motorcycle owner for seven days, I have ridden it about five times in my neighborhood and got up to a whopping 25 mph. I'm registered for the motorcycle license class next weekend, so I have another week of riding around in the neighborhood to get used to riding.

So in this first week, I've taken off the passenger pegs, and started stocking up on parts. I will have the rims and plastics for the Translucent Blue and Red (Blue front rim and Red plastics on the way - still looking for blue plastics). The mirrors and sliders should go on in the next week or two when I get time, and I will start researching tires for the red setup. Who knows - maybe I will do a Translucent Amber and a white setup too (maybe with the CR front).

I've got a particular look in mind for the tail chop and I haven't found it yet online, so the tail will stay stock at least for the next few weeks.
