From who? Really, you're parading your uncovered plate around town and country all day long. If you cut someone off or speed by them and piss them off, they now have your plate number. Yet when you're here with friends that won't do anything malicious you cover it up?Personaly I prefer to keep this info.

Okay. There is a purchase option for a plate lookup here and it will give the registered owner's name and registration details but it won't give out address info. With a name, you can get a little closer to finding an address (not necessarily a storage location for the vehicle).RossLH said:The DMV will do no such thing.
