If it was mine, I'd go a different route looks-wise, but I bet it is a blast to ride as is.

How is it riding with those ape hangers? I feel like I wouldn't have any control over the bike at all.

The apes aren't bad at all. I've been riding with apes for years. It just takes a little getting used to. Now I feel like I have no control with low bars. It's especially great for very long rides. With my sleeping bag or luggage strapped to the backrest, the far forward controls and high handlebars give you the same posture as your recliner lol
