Bicyclebob, a few years ago Buell offered a couple different accessory bodywork sets. the "shifter" bodywork set was for the XBR & the "voltage" was for the XBS. the voltage was a kind of a red & black leopard looking pattern. (there is a new set of the shifter bodywork on ebay now, fyi)

I got the dieselmoto subframe spacers and xblights tail light in..
and all passenger pegs... had to go.
has been too cold to work figure out all the wiring, and get rid of the cheese grater :(

got the firebolt clip top triple tree all ground down and ready to go hehehe.
come on warm summer days!

Looking good. I have a firebolt top triple I'm looking forward to mounting as well, although I still have to find the actual handlebars. Also,if you get tired of that battery tender plug just hanging out, I mounted mine on the right side and when it's not in use I tuck it up right behind the rear brake fluid reservoir.

oh, i had it off when i put on the subframe spacers for extra room .. the prior owner fowled the pins like crazy!!! it's usually hidden real good.

our harley dealership ordered a whole OEM setup for me, top triple, bars, and all new hardware... it was VERY reasonable.. and all brand new.

Big Sky Harley Davidson in Great Falls, MT... awesome people

yea... I definitely have to get around to that -- too busy riding! Maybe tomorrow ----

[up]the best part of riding is you get to procrastinate towards everything else that isn't related to riding

pretty much stock - will do exhaust mod soon and then getting headers ceramic coated before our summer season starts in December. also my daily commute (minus all the boxes). love it! :) wish i had bucks for a normal street XB12SX or similar as an everyday ride. a 900 would also do!

2003 XB9SL named "Buellshark" by the prev. owner. Custom paint and sharkskin/carbon fiber seat. Gills cut in airbox. Love the sound from the Micron when hitting the throttle!
