you did some very nice things to this bike but imo i think the 1125r style bikes are ugly because those big left and right side air scoops they are ugly as hell i like everything else about thebike tho

I like the side air scoops that hide the oil cooler and the fans on the Benneli TNT, if only they could make them like that on the CR too...

Just got this ’03 XB9S w/ 13k on it a few days ago and I’m still trying to figure out what I have. The original owner was related to a Buell tech so it's a tight,well-sorted bike. My wife likes the Valencia orange for the hi-viz aspect and I like the amber rims. The pipe is a Jardine that I think needs repacking. The brake lines are steel braided. Mirrors, bar ends and blinkers are fake c-f. The seat seems to be a Buell select gel seat. The cheese grater is gone. Did I miss anything else? It's a blast in the suburbs, so I'm guessing it's even better out in the twisties. Can't wait for better weather.
