okay, well... I fixed it but, heres a question for you guys...
Are you running LEDs in front AND back? as in, no incandescent bulbs?
in my case, I am.
my two sets of LEDs were not enough to trip even the modified relay. This afternoon I added 2 100 ohm resistors (25W) in parallel. Normally, this would result in fast blinking however, in addition to the modified relay, it was JUST enough to get the system blinking.
So, if you're running ALL LED blinkers, you may need to give your system a little extra "push" to get it going.
anyways, heres what I did.
"2" 100 ohm (25w) resistors wired in parallel. One on each rear blinker.
These leads are famous for breaking off right at the end of the resistor. I'm sure the obnoxious vibration of the xb12 wouldn't help that problem. I did a little "reinforcement".
they work! also... they're much brighter in person.
