Hello, I'm in Garland off of Pleasant Valley and Rowlett Rd (Now Firewheel Pkwy). Let me know when there is another meet up? I do not see any Buells at all, the only Buell I have ever seen is the one I am riding, bought it at European cycle sports in Plano last October.

Yes it is, the Uly was setting there among the Tigers, Explorers, GS's, Ducati's, which I test rode them except the Ducati's, price range was too high. The Buell was the best on gas, and the most fun to ride. Rode each one to Arlington and back on PGBT, everyone had the fuel light come on except the Buell. It was definitely a valid test.

Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

Its like ray-e-ain (rain lol) on your wedding day
Haha

Makes me wonder if she would date a guy like me. I mean come on, let's face it. Neither one of us has a buell.

Anything going on this weekend? Maybe friday evening? I just got mine together and am itching to ride a little. Still a few bugs and ive got ALOT of new noises too!

Welcome aboard LFTDJEEP and Tbone. I'm located in Wylie.

Hello everyone. I've been off of here for a little while and know it's short notice, but might try and put something together for this Saturday. Life's been busy and I just go back in town on Monday, will be heading back out of town next week, too.

I'll post back this evening if Saturday is open for a meet. Probably should ask, does this Saturday (6/22) work for everyone?

And, LFTDJEEP, the 12R looks good. [up]

my bike will be in the shop this weekend, should be good to go by next weekend, the 29th (i hope)

I could possibly do a Saturday depending on time.

SilveradoTX, thanks for the props. Its a temp paint job (plasti-dip) until I settle on a color to go to paint. It looks good from 10'+! LOL

I'm anxious to get another Buell-er to give mine a once over. As I'm new to the community I don't have anything to compare the bike to as far as what the "typicals" are (engine noise, running temp...... and vibrations other than it being a paint-shaker on wheels).

Today was actually the first day I rode the bike for any length of time and that was from Plano to Downtown Dallas and back (work). Pretty sure the front rotor is warped (bad pulsing) and this afternoon coming home on 75 when exiting onto Spring Creek from 75 the exhaust fan never kicked off until 2-3 minutes after I got home...... normal? (not intentionally trying to hijack the thread)

I used to make the commute from Plano to Dallas as well. It was about 30 minutes in the morning and then it would be almost two hours in the afternoon. My fan would kick on about 15 minutes in to my ride home and didn't shut off until about 5-10 minutes after I got home. Sitting in Dallas traffic during the summer, or any time, will do that.

This is my first summer also, I take PGBT from Firewheel, to 75 South and get off the frontage road exit at 635 and i'm at work. Not much time in the morning to heat the ULY up. The ride home has more traffic, and the fan has kicked in a few times this year. The only sound indicator I think I have experienced is the clutch adjustment, really quieted the left side down a lot, but I am not sure what is normal?

Definitely interested in seeing, and hearing other Buells for the same reason, Do not what is normal for one?

Will check on my schedule at lunch time to see what's going on Sat? About what time are you thinking, in case i can shuffle.

I'm thinking a late lunch or early supper, so sometime between 4-6, depending what time works for everyone else.

Sounds like you've got a pretty decent commute. Also, depending on what your schedule looks like, I can buzz down to Firewheel and meet. Don't mind meeting another Buell-er. [cool] [up]

I may be able to make this, not sure yet. I have to be in Waco at noon and will probably leave about 2:00. I may be pushing it.

Gotcha. That helps some... I'm trying to gauge what time will work best for the most people.

Ok I am in for Saturday.
I only had chores around the house, that can be post-poned again...as my significant other is thinking. Might actually wash my Uly, Now that I cleaned the rims with 2 new tires on them, and put them on the motorcycle until 2 am last night. It was fun until I was paged for work at 5am.
Let me know when and where? I actually get to see another Buell, this is great.

Will do. And I think we can all understand the feeling. [up]

Don't worry if the Uly doesn't get washed. My bike hasn't been washed since the last meet when we all rode in the rain. Definitely no garage queen.
