Next time I will be there, was out of town in Portland Or.
Did not see any Buell's there. We did rent a Triumph and a Harley though. Sure am glad to be back on a Uly and wished I could have rode it on the Mountain roads in Wa and Or, I think it would have done awesome there.

Anything going on friday or saturday evening? Sunday? I just got a new helmet and took the front end apart on last sunday chasing my brake issue and havent ridden.......

Anything going on friday or saturday evening? Sunday?
My wife and I have plans with family and friends all the way through the weekend, but if anything changes I'd be up for a get together/ride.

Wife and I have been doing early Sunday morning rides together. Checking out various FM roads N and NE of Dallas. We did FM 428 this past week and while riding two-up were comfortably taking curves faster than most of the soloists.

I'd go on one Sunday before it got too hot. I'm a little south of DFW, where would you want to meet?

My apologies for being so quiet. I had been traveling for work end of July/start of August, sort of settling in to being home and back on schedule.

Anybody been to Tioga? Thinking of riding out there two up on Saturday the 31st.

I also have been doing a lot of riding north east of Dallas in the Farmersville, Mckinney, Caddo Mills, Fate, Nevada, Lavon, Royse City, Rockwall, Rowlette, Sachse, Wylie, ..... areas a lot. We are looking for a 4 to 10 acre Ranch, so if anyone knows of one let me know? Seems like we have been looking mainly North of I30 and east of Dallas preferrably within 45 Minutes or 1hr at the most. My Wife and I both work in Richardson or near it, so we did not want too big a commute. We did look in Royse City off of 276 South of 30, but it seems like the area is more isolated and the traffic is worse than north of I30? Maybe just the time of day we were looking? We have not looked in Forney, Heath, Sunnyvale, Crandall, Kaufman, Terrel, Mesquite, Balchsprings, Seagoville, etc...because it seems like a lot more difficult to commute to work from there? Anybody in that area?

We used to live In Richardson. I loved it there.

I have family In Forney. That would be a long haul!
Mesquites not much better.

I'd look in Wylie, Sachse, Murphy for land. Or up 75 a bit.
I'm in Rowlett and Richardson is pretty close. But you'd pay a high premium for 10 acres here or anywhere that's really developed

I'll be in San Antonio for a friends wedding. If that wasn't on the books then I'd say count me and my wife in for the 31st.

Now that I'm thinking about it, anyone want to plan (weather permitting) on meeting at Cars & Coffee on 10/7 and do a ride? Maybe stop somewhere and get some lunch at a halfway point? I've been wanting to get out toward Sherman for a while and ride 697/Ida Rd. for a while. And several folks have mentioned it being a good ride.

Off the top of my head... we can ride up 121, go through Prosper to Celina, take 455 east to Anna, jump on 75 to Sherman, stop for lunch, and then ride 697 south to Whitewright. Thoughts? I know that is closer for some and farther for others.

There's a solid 5 hours of commuting time for me but hell I'm game. Hope my ass can handle the seat time.
