^ This! I don't know what day ill be on a track, but one day I hope with a track who cares what condition it is in bike. I don't want to ruin my Buell again, its not worth it to push it on the streets where anything can happen (deer, gravel driveway rocks on the road, blind corners) I'm not getting any money for gettin with it on the street so it means nothing to do it.

^ That is very true. Also you have an alwesome bike man. Just everything about it is amazing. Its almost simple but really clean. And sorry about your accident but I'm glad that you are doing good and back on it and didn't stop riding after your wreck.

Thank you I like simple clean I am happy with the way it turned out, looks stock that has not flashy things done to it.

If you saw them in person you might not say that lol! They were rashed in the accident and I had them painted which looks good in pics but there is a S ton of bubbles in the paint, at the end of this riding season they are going back to the painter to get resprayed. I have the 1125 airbox emblems that still need to go on and the headlight bezels, but the crap paint job has prevented me putting them on.

Ok yea because in pictures they look really good. Also I would almost say not to put the emblems on the air box because it looks good like that but it might look good once you get them on there. When I first saw your in a picture on here after your wreck I said that is a good lookin bike and then I saw it on the DMV thread in pictures of the past ride. I didn't know you lived in VA and close to Northern VA that is. Thats pretty cool, I wish I could have gone with you all but went pumpkin picking with the wife and kid. I think I saw you all going down 29 in New Balitmore. I was at the tree place across from 7-11 and the spitoneys.

Yeah it looks good in pics and in person it looks good to the average looker but I see all the imperfectaions because im a picky person...

The airbox emblems will be going on cause I like the look of them on there. It looks good without them but better on imo.

We are going to ride one last time before the cold cold weather hits just keep an eye on the DMV thread and join if you can, if not there is always next year.

We did ride down 29 that was probably us that you saw.

Yea I'll keep an eye on the DMV thread. Hopefully I can go next time and I'm hoping I can get some new tires on my bike before then. Yea I saw the tail end of you all riding and made my day. When I do see other Buells on the road I get all excited like a virgin seeing boobs for the first time you just can't stop starring.

Kick ass pictures, amazing story and an even more amazing recovery! Glad this story ended on the sunny side of life. [up]

Thanks! It was a rough year. I'm glad I had this forum to look at everyday when I was bored out of my mind and a few fun threads that kept me entertained.

Thanks anrkizm95 and rrh352.[up]

Hey I just realized your bike build was followed by your accident too. Nice bike! Glad you are doing better and still riding the Buell.

Sweet ride. I'm all about a custom look that appears factory too. It would not hurt my feelings to put a long swingarm on my XB12SXcg. Love that long and low stance. Reminds me of the way a Busa sits a little. It just looks more substantial. Sometimes when I look at my bike, it looks like a toy because it's so stubby and low. Anyway, thanks for sharing. It's bada**. Let us know how it handles and what the wheelbase is.

Always glad to see a great recovery. That is a sweet color combo . Do you have any pics of the bike before you pulled it apart?

This 100000%! the gawdy look is for COUCH rocket old men. There is no taste IMO with a bunch of accent lights and stickers. It rides normal to me with my non push myself riding style after the accident.

GAXB9R - One of the first pics (rolling shot with Buell jacket) on page one is the before.

It's amazing what injuries you won't even realize you have when your adrenaline is pumping and your in shock.
