Oil leakage from rocker cover gaskets

New to Buell, bought wife an '01 Blast and we've got oil leaking from the rocker cover gasket (valve side) I can see gasket material sitcking out on interior side of the valve side... my main question is: can you remove the top and lower rocker covers without pulling the bike apart?
