I have spent the past 4 months or so rebuilding the front end of my bike (powder coated some parts, replaced some parts, fixed some parts, etc.). It's pretty much back together, I hooked up the brake on tuesday, and will finish up hopefully tonight then can "test" ride it to work tomorrow. As long as nothing bad happens then I can ride sunday.
FlaXB9R just loves to give me crap for "slacking". I just don't hardly have any free time so it appears as if I'm slacking, even though I'm not

Hey guys was thinking about checking out a local bike night tonight to see what orlando bike nights have to offer i hear this spot is fairly new so who knows. Here's the address let me know if your down to come out. or if you have any input on this because you have been to it before that would be much appreciated

I know a few people that attend(or have attended) but personally I haven't been, a bit far for me . Wouldn't mind checking it out another time though . My son has a play at school tonight so there would be no way for me tonight .
I also play softball on Thursday nights so probably not the best night for me but if you go let us know how it was .

^That place is fairly new. It's about 1/4 mile from where I'm currently sitting . I work right down the street from it (nothing like trying to get work done while you can hear cars and bikes drag racing all day)...
Supposedly it's a nice place, they have a drag strip (1/8 mile IIRC), high speed go karts, and apparently do something with bikes... I haven't been though.

BIKE NIGHT REVIEW: I really thought i had seen it all until the scooter gangs started showing up ready to drag race. it kinda blew my mind. [confused]
i showed up at 8:30 which apparently was kind of early being that there were only a handful of people and bikes there. had a few people that ride Harley's admire my bike and say at least we found someone with good taste here(haha). at about 9:00 they started the drag runs which was fun to watch i saw some really good runs. they had really good looking girls doing a bikini bike wash however i did not do the standard creepy thing every other guy with a camera did. they had beer and food but i don't drink and ride. and they had a DJ who blasted tasteless music. overall by the ending of he night the lot was over crowded with Jap bikes that were 30 feet long. it wasn't a bad time i think some people need to start showing up with different styles of bikes.

^my wife's friend's husband(try to follow me here....lol) invited me to a drift competition there right when they opened about a year ago, I wanted to go since I've never watched that but for whatever reason didn't, probably was busy.
I think they also had the stunt wars there this year (it is usually held at the 1/4 mile dragstrip in bithlo, on the other end of town).

Ok, I'll get on here saturday sometime before evening to verify where and when we are all meeting. I worked on the bike last night, didn't ride it to work though. I will have it done in the morning. I think all I have to do is put the plastics on then do a test ride and check everything. Funny though, I have several left over bolts/etc....

That's some funny ish right there . What were they running 30 second 1/8 miles ? Right around the corner form my neighborhood there is a trailer park with a scooter gang/group . Their scooters are all tricked out and lowered, extended, with radio's and all . Very entertaining sight if you ask me . I've also seen the scooter gangs/groups in Daytona during bike week .
There's a kid on my street who has a turbocharged scooter, it'll go like 80mph it's pretty scary haha. But yeah I don't understand why people invest thousands into a scooter that's worth practically nothing. Doesn't make sense. You can usually buy a decent bike for what a scooter costs.

snrusnak better get yo ish together ain't no backing out now . I turned down the beach with wife and kids to ride . She wasn't to happy either considering I'm going to NC next weekend to ride the dragon . But hey you know what they say , "Men do what they want , boys do what they can ."
