Passenger seat complaint?

She's buying her own bike this weekend

just being one with the bike is where my head is at...

I will however get a bike for my wife when she learns how to ride and will relish the time we spend riding together..

(and IF I wanted passengers I would have bought a couch.)

Hey 2nastyn8. The Buell XB touring passenger pillion is awesome. Twice as thick and alot wider as the stocker. I got mine on ebay for the buy it now price of $150. I have seen them as high as $250 buy it now. After having mine for my wife, I would have paid the $250. Just keep up on ebay and you will come across one. I always try to post that there is one up for the guys here.

Wow, I'm not sure how to take that page 17 without having an attitude. But as far as "messing up the experience with a superfluous human being". I like my Buell, but I love my wife more, sorry. So if thats a problem with management, they know where they can pick up their highly designed single action bike. Just when you do, leave an apology note for the mother of my children! [mad]

Oh come on, lighten up. I sure it was not meant as a personal attack on you and your loved ones.

Buell was an race engineering driven company with highly engineered products designed for performance. All they are saying is that you are not experiencing the optimum performance for which the bike was designed if you are carrying a second person.

Of course there are other aspects of motorcycling to be enjoyed also but you can't expect a group of race engineers to be thinking that way when they spend years perfecting the balance and performance of a bike.
