Well, I can't fault any area really, there are good and bad pockets in each area. We live and work in the NE part of Phoenix/Scottsdale, Krystyna works at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort, and I run the Store, Postal Plus. They call it the Magic zip code, 85254. Paradise Valley School District, Scottsdale addresses, Phoenix city counsel and services, and still close enough to downtown if you have to go there. Gilbert is nice, as is Surprise, my sister lives in NW Peoria 95th & Deer Valley, My Brother just Picked up a sweet deal out in West Buckeye off of Watson Road & I10, We grew up in Maryvale and Dad after retiring out a Luke AFB worked at the Helicopter Plant in Mesa 40 miles each way with a lot less freeways back then, I hung out in Glendale/Peoria area and had a House up on Carefree Hwy. @ 7th Avenue, long before anything else was out there.

So My recommendation is to find something centrally located, then the odds are better that you won't be spending in excess of an hour commuting.

I plan to be taking a trip down in April so you all will know when I am heading down. Also I will be there for a week roughly.

Dang Ophawk, You've got it good. JW Marriott is MONEY! I love going there.

Paradise Valley is insane. I go there to car watch. You see Lambo's and Bentleys like they were giving them away.

I live in Queen Creek, it's mostly Tahoes and Mini Vans by me. ;-)

Yep I agree, JW is good
I worked there for 5 years then aggravated a back injury, and had to leave. And yes I do see lambo's, R8's, Bentley's, Roll's and a ton of Ferrari's, Porsche's. Plus my fair share of celeb's too.

Sounds like my kind of place, sort of a celeb if you all didn't know. Been in a few movies and all the good stuff.






Well the movies were home made so I guess it doesn't really count, but I am a star in my own eyes

Roger Borgett must live in the area, I have seen him a couple times. Dennis Farina is @ the restaurant next to me couple times a month, Steve Nash and his Dad are also there, Reggie Sanders is a regular in my store, Danica Patrick and her parents live in the area, her parents frequent a bar in our center, though I haven't met her . It is a fun place, They are just real people.
Working at the resort I have met Roger Penske, Alan Alda, Jack Roush, Steve Forbes, Sir Richard Branson, Muhamad Ali, Rush, The Pope equivalent for the Greek Orthodox Church, the playmate of the year in '06 or '07 and too Many Ball and Hockey Players to count. While I was in the Gulf in 1990 I met Dan Rather, and shook hands with General Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf.

After living nearly every location around Phoenix, this is the place I am happy with.
