You could have bought a set of universal bar clamps and bolted them to your r top tree. I did this with my lightning.

Is this to modify Firebolt top triple tree to be able to use handlebars?

Hi John! Beg my pard. Been 4 years but a step by step would still be nice!! Beg my pard. Got my lightning triple tree in today! I got an 07 xb12r Firebolt.
