how durable is this stuff and where can i get it?  my chin spoiler is in bad need paint repair and this looks like the stuff to do it with.

Not sure how durable it is yet, but that's why I did those parts. I wanted to see how the chin fairing will hold up to rocks and debris bouncing off of it, and rubbing my shoes/pants up against them.

Wanta6th2. I can't tell in that pic what's going on?

So here are the parts installed. Don't think those heel guards will hold up long. The texture is a bit tacky and my guess is, it will begin to peel on the first ride just due to my pants/shoes rubbing against them. Haven't been able to ride yet, but will over the weekend.

Here's a before pic. Not the best look at these parts but can't find better pic right now.

I just found this stuff after reading this thread today and I got so excited went and got a few cans and did my whole bike. I don't plan to leave it like this but wanted to make sure I liked the colors before I powder coat everything. Really simple and ill get better pics soon and let you know how it holds up

Anywhere friction can occur the paint peels. Other than that. Its good stuff.I tried to reapply but it didn't go so well. You can see ot peeling in the picture.

I tend to dork out on learning new shit, so I watched as many YouTube videos on the various applications, and seemingly the common denominator to any issues stemmed from the distance to the object your spraying. Too close and it sprays clear, too far and it bubbles. I guess there's some technique behind the chemistry.

Good thing about it, if you mess up you can start over.

Wifarmboy, that changed the entire look of your bike! Nice work!

Being bored = More plastidip!

So I was wasting time this evening and decided to plastidip my seat frame rails like ASH above. This stuff is fun! I like ASH's better, but it'll be a fun change for a short time anyway.

I didn't do the tail which looks a little odd, but just trying different stuff. I'll do it again and do the tail as well.

Nope there's a few colors red white all the camouflage colors blaze orange and blaze blue there's a gloss coating metalic fleck clear and tint

Gaxb9r - wanta6th2 used the white above a couple of pics you can see what that looks like. You can also mix and customize colors.

Does it have any effect on the clear plastics after its been on a while? The last thing I want is to peel it off and find the plastic underneath has been tinted or changed at all. Have any of you tried it?

It is some crazy stuff. Did mine 3 weeks ago to see what it was about on my windscreen, airbox cover and front fender. Applied it thick and was worried at first because it looked rough as shit. It dried and looks perfect. Smooth and matte black. For shits and giggles I peeled it off in one big ball and reapplied it. Looks great with my hero blue rims.
