The road 2's do not turn in like the other tires warm up is slow and they tend to feel harder as they wear down.
The millage is awesome the wet grip is better but take it easy for about 600 miles because mine felt greasy for quite a while after install.
Also rin the back tire about 2psi softer than usual to aid in warmup and compliance.
My 10 minute commute was not enough to get heat into them for spirited riding and I would commonly feel the tires pushing around if I got too aggressive rigging highway off ramps.
Because warm up was so slow I would commonly find cold tears from over accelerating or overbraking.
Also worthy of note your straight line braking Performance will not be as good, I looked my rear up more times than I can count and a few times it got hairy, I also locked the front up a few times and no matter what that is always a butt puckering moment. They lean a bit different too, the curvature is not the same as a pilot power but similar to a pure with a steeper crown.
But don't let this detur you because for a sport touring tire they are among the best, just be aware that they are not a super sport tire.
I'll be going back to my road 2's in the spring, they have somewhere between 6-8 thousand miles on them and still look great.
My new commute will be 100 miles a day 3 days a week and these tires will be perfect for it.
