Text messaging is great when you're all "Hey baby, grab me some beer on your way home", but that's it's extent.

Text messaging is like email, you can't read facial expressions, you can't hear tone. You need to put it out on the table and see/hear how she handles it. You'll know within the first sentance if she's in it or not.

Honestly, if the effort isn't being put into it on each side, then let it go. Same b.s. happened to me. I was working a lot and didn't have as much time to spend with her as she wanted even though I tried to use the time I had for her to spend together. Well, she met someone else and that was it. Cut your losses before you get hurt. If she really wants you, she'll come to you.

I hate to ask, but why are you guys communicating with text. Man up and talk to her face to face. The conversation will be a lot better, and you can convey emotion better. Just my $.02

From the text messages, it sounds like she is not as emotionally invested in the relationship as you are. It kind of sounds like she has the attitude of, "Oh, well. If it doesn't work out, I'll make something (or someone) else work" The "dating my phone" comment sent off lots of alarms in my book, and the fact that she wants to talk, but she doesn't answer when you call...that with being very defensive about the guy, not a good sign. Been in this situation before, and the ensuing crash-and-burn made the Hindenburg look like a picnic.


Besides, if it does end, look at all the free time and $$ you will be able to put towards your woman that doesn't argue (as much), your Buell!
