Well with all the stuff I have been adding lately I decided to condense everything into one thread that I can just update. I'll start off by introducing Ember, my 2003 Firebolt XB9R, picked her up with 7404 miles on her:
I traded my 1982 Hydrostream Ventura boat and trailer for her and was very happy with the trade, I only had about $1500 invested in the boat (traded some stuff for it as well, I wheel and deal alot):
The bike came with a Buell Race Pipe and K&N filter already installed, and besides that and the timing cover with LED's and the firebolt decal on the pulley cover, she was pretty much stock. I picked up a rear seat cover and built an open-airbox setup for the bike as well as a breather re-route. I then picked up ECMSpy and with the help of some members from here and BWB, got her tuned with a Buell Race Map and modified it myself to get it right for my setup:
Had a friend make up some decals for my upper triple, and installed my right side scoop and polished the header a bit as well as installing a vista-cruise throttle lock which I LOVE:
I just recently went ahead and ordered the upgraded kickstand pin and modified the stand today. Noticed when I pulled out my stock "bolt" that the thread section was bent and had a small crack so it was just a matter of time before that broke! I drilled the stand out to 1/2" and after looking for a clip to hold it in place I noticed that a fuel injector clip I had in my toolbox off an LS1 (really any clip would work but that's what it was off of) fit perfectly and held it in nice and snug:
After getting that finished the mail lady showed up and had a special delivery...........axle sliders from 50dro!!!!! Got those puppies slapped in and installed my mini-advertisement:
I've got a set of frame pucks that will be here wednesday and I'm still debating if I want to leave my wheels silver or do them like this:
I've got some plans for the future for it, in the near future it'll be getting some bar end weights/sliders and an alarm and some little things and down the line some more extensive things
