Well with all the stuff I have been adding lately I decided to condense everything into one thread that I can just update. I'll start off by introducing Ember, my 2003 Firebolt XB9R, picked her up with 7404 miles on her:

I traded my 1982 Hydrostream Ventura boat and trailer for her and was very happy with the trade, I only had about $1500 invested in the boat (traded some stuff for it as well, I wheel and deal alot):

The bike came with a Buell Race Pipe and K&N filter already installed, and besides that and the timing cover with LED's and the firebolt decal on the pulley cover, she was pretty much stock. I picked up a rear seat cover and built an open-airbox setup for the bike as well as a breather re-route. I then picked up ECMSpy and with the help of some members from here and BWB, got her tuned with a Buell Race Map and modified it myself to get it right for my setup:

Had a friend make up some decals for my upper triple, and installed my right side scoop and polished the header a bit as well as installing a vista-cruise throttle lock which I LOVE:

I just recently went ahead and ordered the upgraded kickstand pin and modified the stand today. Noticed when I pulled out my stock "bolt" that the thread section was bent and had a small crack so it was just a matter of time before that broke! I drilled the stand out to 1/2" and after looking for a clip to hold it in place I noticed that a fuel injector clip I had in my toolbox off an LS1 (really any clip would work but that's what it was off of) fit perfectly and held it in nice and snug:

I've got a set of frame pucks that will be here wednesday and I'm still debating if I want to leave my wheels silver or do them like this:

I've got some plans for the future for it, in the near future it'll be getting some bar end weights/sliders and an alarm and some little things and down the line some more extensive things :)

Like! [up] Thanks for sporting the sticker too! Darn near gives me chills every time someone puts one on their bike! [cool] I appreciate it more than you can imagine!

No problem bud, I appreciate the sliders! The fit/finish is great, and I think the decal fit nicely on the swingarm.

Thanks to ASB, got my frame pucks in today, just in time for bike night tomorrow lol. I trimmed my frame decal to "flow" with the puck. Not sure if I should leave the Pegasus head or not, I kinda like it, my wife thinks it looks stupid now :p

New Jardine exhaust I got off Ebay. looking to mod it a bit to make it a bit different:

Santa forgot my windscreen in his Sleigh so he'll be bring that by next week with a couple other items he forgot :)

the new airbox decals look great, what color windscreen are you going with? wish there were more options for the stock windscreen colors, don't really want to paint the clear one:(

I went with a dark smoke Zero Gravity SR screen. Ya the color choices are slim in stock screens. You want an Amber one :) I'm working on an idea for the Jardine, trying to figure out the "logistics" of my idea haha. This came today as well :)

cool, got one my self...yellow with carbon fiber back ground, just gonna have to cover up the XB12R between the gauges since she's a 9 Lightningbolt :D

LOL ya I saw where you won the giveaway. Should look awesome! Should be easy enough to cover the 12. I'm really happy with the airbox decals. Think it looks much better with the scheme of the bike

flows with the frame, ties it in and the dash board even more, looked into the zero gravity custom windscreens in yellow, but my wallet can't stretch any more at the moment so that has to be put on the wait list for now as well as keys, wire connector and pins, thus holding up the conversion:(

Ya that's what I was thinking. Ya I hear ya on the wallet issue. Mine is running a little thin at the moment lol gotta get back to work tomorrow and make some mula

So........sometimes I hate having credit lines lol. I have an amazon store card that I never use and decided to place an order for:

Lyndall Gold+ Pads for front/rear
Front/Rear Stands
Allballs Steering and Wheel bearings
Armored riding pants to zip to my jacket
Saddle and Tail Bags for upcoming trip
Bar Sliders
and a set of disc locks

oy vey

[up] to those types of cards, usually get home depot ones from family cause of all the DIY projects that I've done

Thanks bud! Decided to do a bit of work today, ripped off the Buell Race Pipe and figured while I had it off I'd jack the bike up and pull the front end off. My steering head bearings were feeling a bit notchy, had it catch on me one day and scared the crap out of me so figured I'd get it ready for when the AllBalls kit gets here:

My new windscreen arrived today along with a few parts, still waiting on my steering head bearings so I can start putting her back together though [mad] Put the windscreen in and set the front back on the bike to see how it'll look:

I have to say that I'm very happy with the new look. I was hesitant at first because I liked it with the Amber screen and emblems but I think this flows so much better! Can't wait to have it assembled and get a real look at her :)
