One more question: did you guys do any clear over the top? Or did you just do the buell paint and that's it?

So, here is my first attempt at painting the pucks. I used some primer that someone on here recommended and then the Buell spray paint. At the time I just wanted to paint the pucks and see what happens. Now, I want to sand down the scratches and do it again, but I'm going to save that project for this winter. I'm really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to get my body plastics painted next!!!
That looks really cool i like it, i have never seen a buell with colour matched pucks before, Well done!! :eagerness:

Thanks! I got the idea from another thread when I was researching removing my pucks. I HATED the black on silver look of the pucks and was originally going to try and paint the "frame" and swingarm the dark graphite color but came to my senses and realized that this approach was much more doable and with a higher "success" rate. Now, I have to sand out a scratch behind the right side puck and on the right side of the swingarm, but like I said, I'm saving that project until next winter. Thanks again for the compliments!
You`re welcome! you are doing a good job, i like the way you are approaching it and like you next winter i will be doing cosmetics as i have the bike exactly how i want it now all it needs is to lose the nicks and scratches and just be refreshed a bit! :eagerness:
