Rearset help

I’ve done full research on this and can’t make up my mind, are Lightning and firebolt rearsets the same as each other? Looking at the part catalog, it looked like the firebolt part number said fits all models while the lightning did not. I’m swapping these out for my Ulysses rearsets. Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to the L&R mounting plate that attaches the drivers foot peg and heel guard to the XB frame???? Same between S and R models. Very different for X Ulysses model.

Kind of a side note. You can mount Uly foot peg mounts on Lightnings. You'll need the shift linkage and rear brake line from the Uly. You'll need to use Uly foot pegs as their mounting bracket is narrower. I had to modify the rear master brake cylinder to mount it to the foot peg bracket. I have had both knees replaced so my range of motion is not great The Uly foot pegs are 3 inches lower. Since I'm not Ricky Roadracer any more at 74 the ground clearance is not an issue. A big Thanks to 3419 and Cooter to make this mod happen. I'm good for a lot of hours of seat time now.
