except for the 2008 models, there should be no problem fitting a rh airscoop.
the 2008's front header is situated higher than previous models. (this is also the case with micron headers).

Is the 2008 the only year of the Lightning that is like this? I'm looking to get the RSS as well but I have a 2009 Lightning. Will the scoop be different than the one for the 2008?

Scoop from HD $47.00. Doesn't match the left or look as good as Le Fox's connection but damn sure works. My fan almost never turns on now. Has only turned on after sitting in traffic and then pulled into parking lot.

Can anyone tell me if the washers in the hardware for the OEM right side scoop are nylon? Ordered my scoop from HD Dallas, everything came in, but they didn't ship washers. Just going to get some from lowes. Wasn't sure if they needed to be a certain type, or if any washer would do?
