right side air scoop for Buell

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Did anybody ever considered to use this type of air scoops. Done in FRP, left&right unpainted for 100 USD plus shipping.

Hi BBKBuell, I saw that Air Scoops installed on EXTREMELOW's XB9 Firebolt. Perhaps he could share with us his impression of using those Frank-Parts Air Scoops.

I will try to post him about this issue.

Can you please send me your friends info again? i really want the correct one for my bike. I know what i wrote, and i was trying to except the fact it would be nig#%r rigged and crooked. So i was down playing its crookedness. Once I realized that the scoop was diff from year to year 08 and up or what ever i fucking wrote i decided i wanted it to fit correctly. it is they only crocked half ass part on my bike. It was made great but for an 06 and under. I need one for an 09. Look fucker im done talking to you and im pissed i got a bad part and im not going to pretend like its ok if you have to mount it wrong to make it fit wrong. Its not the correct part. Becarefull buying from this guys friend. If it dont fit you own it people. Once your stuck with it he will say i didnt sell it to you my unnamed friend did and i didnt make any money so im not responcable. I dont see you telling people that before they buy from you. You need to change your sales pitch.

ffs man...do you even read? i'm guessing your not the brightest crayon in the box [smirk]

you ask for contact-info you yourself posted on another forum where you said 'it fits great!'
contact info that was mentioned in the mail sent to you and a contact that was placed in cc of that same mail.

now if you get the part, see it doesn't fit...instead of fucking around with it, contact the manufacturer and he will help or exchange the part, as he always does! that's the base of any warranty claim...don't fuck around with it!

now you want the contact info, click the fucking link in your own fucking post

you're done? i do fucking hope so!
and you know what? anyone wants a part, go find it cause i don't need this kind of shit!

Bright heads off into the Twilight Zone every now and then Fox, just read some of his threads. Don't judge us all by him.
He's the only one you've had this crap from right?

Hey guys I made a pretty simple DIY scoop for both styles, estimated material cost is about $1.50. I thought they turned out fairly nice??? I would like to do some tweaks on the squared style but if I got a decent demand I could sell for $55.00 shipped???? They're made out of metal too!!! ;) I think they could support the bike in a small spill???
Thread title Called " right side scoop ( Pegasus style)

^^^ not trying to steal, just trying to be helpful. I encourage those of u to give it a shot. Much easier than painting in my opinion. Sry, carry on.

Lefox... please send me a quote for a 2006 xb12Ss RSS to [email protected] . Zip code 45044 ohio.
sent...;)

that's alot of question marks.
either you ship for 55 or you don't...(do make sure you can keep up with demand, though)
either they protect in a spill or they don't. if you haven't tested it, don't let people assume that they do. i can tell you this, it will give sparks when sliding and that near a fuel tank is bad news.

and yet, it does come over that way...especially after posting your latest.
but incase like doing this, next time place a link, cause i can't find your thread. ;)

Lefox, i was trying to keep the links down, trying to be more effeciant. I didnt want to turn into the new Jobe, "sry Jobe"
I was refering to ^demand^ with the q's.
I think you would have a pretty hard time making sheet aluminum spark against the pavement. I jumped around on top of it to see the strength I weigh about 175 and would guess that I got the psi to around the range of 300-350 pounds. Its also pretty easy to just click on my name and then click on posts made by me.
I assure u that I am only trying to be helpful, "You can give a guy a fish, or you can teach him how to catch fish" Thats my outmost theory....:)

Love my Right side Scoop but seriously, i never hear my fan anymore!! Kinda miss the sound when i shut it off.

So is the right side air scoop actually functional or is it just aesthetics?
Very very functional, i dont know why Buell never put two scoops on from factory.
My fan used to turn on after every ride and occasionally during the ride. Now it only turns on after long rides and never while riding. the first 5 rides after installing the scoop i never heard my fan.

Hey Fox, are these still avaliable through you? I would like a quote if you are still doing this for your buddy.

I was gonna buy the other one from buellster parts, but as said by others it does work great but doesn't match the left side factory scoop.

email = [email protected]
shipped = Zip-34474 Ocala, Florida USA (commercial address)
wanting = (1) black (non-carbon fiber) stock match
bike = 2003 XB9R Firebolt

Thanks in advance,
Ron
