Ok, lets do this over , i got mine and the fit ment is not good. It does not fit. I have unhappily had mine for 9 months. I want to get the proper one for mine, what do i do again? My problem, only because i was told that the only diff was the rear bolt bracket mount. I later just recently found that thats not true that its the year. I did a slight alteration on the inside of mine trying to get it to fit to no avail. I then stuck the rear bart of the scoop on the inside of the rear bracket mount and it looked beter but it was still not correct. I have lived with it incorrect for a while its the only dissapointment i have with my entire bike. I love everything but the way it fits my bike. Now because i did a small bit of grinding on the inside of the scoop do to Lefox telling me it was my bike not the scoop i will probley be stuck with it. 08 and newer require a diff scoop. What do i do now to get the correct scoop. Or am I out a bubch of cash because you didnt know your product. I know this will frustrate you but you neeed to admit when your wrong and fix it. I did contact you and you pawned me off on the guy you sell these for saying you dont make any money. I hate middle men who pawn off problems they create. I bought this from you i want to resolve this with you. Where can I ship this scoop to get my replecement for an 09 firebolt? I am finnaly just pissed off about this, and your excuse that "you just sell them for a friend, and you dont make any money" really pushed it over the top.

Here is the link that shows there is a diff between the 07 and under and the 08 and above. scroll down to see the RRS. I paid 169euro plus fee's, this shows 189euro for the 08 and over. Even if this is a diff place it still shows that there is a diff between the two. Thats the point im trying to make. Here you were telling me my bike is fucked up when i knew all along it was thew scoop. I just want to resolve this issue. I have looked through my emails and cant find the copied email adress you say you gave me to contact your friend. BTW does your friend have a name? I brought this to you attention twice and I still dont have his name or email address. The pm we just exchanged does not contain the info i need to resolve this issue.

Where do I get a right side air scoop that looks like the left side... part #s suppliers etc.

Did anybody ever considered to use this type of air scoops. Done in FRP, left&right unpainted for 100 USD plus shipping.

bright, like i told you already, several times.

i do not sell, i give you the quote to lighten the load for the guy (a friend) that sells.

on every quote, the manufacturer details are listed and he is placed in cc.
the money/paypal transfer goes directly to him.

if you have a problem with the fitment it is either due to the fact that you didn't list the model year or by a honest packing mistake. (mistakes happen, we are still only human)
i also mentioned you just have to email the manufacturer with your problem, a few pictures and an exchange would be made without questions.

the fact that you started altering the scoop itself before contacting the manufacturer is your mistake, not mine.

the scoop is sold through several highly recommended webshops...do you think they would do that with a product they don't support? or without quality guarantee?

this is also the first time you actually told me you no longer have the contact details of the manufacturer.

Here is my bike with the new right side scoop on. They do fit a little diff on every bike. He will tell you that. The mounts on all of our bikes are a little diff even the same year welded on the same day. The mount can be bent in or out with a little pressure or a small rubber mallet. My rear mount wass set closer to the out side of the frame about an inch more then most so I put my scoop/ the rear hole behind the rear mount. It fits great that way. Mosst fit in front of the rear mount. It is very expensive. I was told be other buellers on buellxb.com that they have found them cheaper. I could not. he give great tech support after you recieve the scoop. Here is a recent pic. Extreamly high craftsman ship. Here is the guy to contact. If your interested just send him an email.

did this as a service to fellow buellers, but i can do other things with my time, so no hard feelings if you contact the source. price will be the same, but i'll have more freetime
